QC Shipping Limited (QCSL) was incorporated as a private
limited company on 13 June 1975. Since then this company
has been serving the shipping and aviation industry of
Bangladesh with utmost dedication and efficiency as well
as kept the services up to the expectation of overseas
principals.
To maintain its well-structured organizational hierarchy
and to provide a continuous process of effective
administration, the company has been divided into the
following divisions : |

Agency Division - Through the agencyship of many
leading business conglomerates, QCSL provides
container and break-bulk services to different
regions of the world such as Europe, Middle
East, Far East, USA, Mediterranean, Persian
Gulf, Red Sea and Indian Subcontinent.

Feeder
Division - Being the vessel handling agent of QC
Container Line Limited (QCCL) QCSL is devoted to manage
the operations, sales, documentations, etc. and
husbandry of container vessels plying from/to Chittagong
to/from different destinations of Asia such as
Singapore, Port Klang, Tanjung Pelepas & Haldia.

Ship
Management and Chartering Department - This division is
entrusted primarily with the management of vessels those
are chartered by QCCL on Time Charter or Voyage Charter
basis. Moreover, QCSL is also related to Chartering of
Vessels for shipment of bulk cargo - both on import and
export basis.

Aviation Division - This division is the general sales
agents for ALITALIA, the Italian Airline, in Bangladesh.
The division secured the contract worth about us$85
million for the maintenance of the DC-10,30 aircraft
owned by Bangladesh Biman.

Intermodal Logistics (Equipment Division) - This
division has emerged as a separate wing of the company.

With the head
office located at Chittagong, QCSL is continuing to maintain
itself effectively along with the sincere cooperation from its
other branch offices located at Dhaka, Singapore, Port Klang and
Khulna.
As an NVOCC / MTO / Forwarder, QCSL has a very strong presence
in Asia. She is a former CIS and handles substantial import from
Far east and extensive export to Africa ex Bangladesh. QCSL is
the first company providing Door Service to Dhaka based
customers from Chittagong and ICD Dhaka. QCSL is also the enlisted shipbroker of Bangladesh's
national carrier - Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) &
Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC). |
