Boarding Goods
QC Trading Limited (QCTL) enjoys possibly the largest
share of stevedoring business in Bangladesh. The company
was incorporated on 13th June, 1977. The company handled
close to one million tons of cargo, including about
55,000 TEUS in 1998-2000. The range of cargo includes
discharging of bulk grain though vacuvators, bagging of
bulk cargo, discharging of palletized cargo, stuffing
and stripping of containers, discharging of car
carriers, heavy equipment, movement of containers from
vessel to container yard/ Export Processing Zone and
vice-versa. It is the only stevedoring company with its
own fleet of container moving equipments - prime movers
and container chassis. Apart from these, the company has
a full complement of cargo handling equipments. The
equipment capability of the company provides a credible
advantage over other competitors. |

In addition to its active engagement with exports of
traditional & nontraditional items, being a member of QC
Group, QCTL is closely related with the group's
Transport Activities. QCTL is the only Bangladeshi
company - secured contract to work as a Stevedore at the
port of Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
QCTL is one of
the top five stevedoring companies in Chittagong & is also proud
to be one of the 6 stevedores of State Trading Corporation (TCB).
At present, QCTL is working as the Shore Handling Contractor of
Sealand & Buyers Consolidators & Vessel Stevedore of - liner /
non liner vessels calling at Chittagong under QC Shipping
Limited and QC Container Line Limited - which is the first
container vessel owned company under Bangladesh Flag. Moreover,
the company is very much in the business of Managing Real Estate
& Filling Stations, and CFS/Yard Operations.
